New Schedule and Pick-up/Drop-off Location for the Perimeter Shuttle
The Perimeter Shuttle, which serves businesses along Glenlake Parkwayand Embassy Row, is announcing a schedule and pick-up/Drop-off location change. The Shuttle’s PM schedule has been adjusted respond to customer feedback, and to accommodate an increase in participating employers along the route. The morning schedule will remain the same. Please see the updated schedule below for more information about the new afternoon pickup times. This change took place on February 6th. Please note that the new schedule allows the shuttle to complete 7 loops of its route, rather than the previous 6 – providing an increased level of service for most riders.
The route has also changed. The first change is the addition of two new stops on the route – at 10 and 50 Glenlake Parkway. The addition of these new stakeholders will bring a greater ridership to the shuttle, and help to ensure its long run financial sustainability.
The other major change is a new pick-up/drop-off location at the Sandy Springs MARTA location. Instead of picking up at the south end of the station the shuttle will pick up riders at the MARTA entrance at the north end of the station, easy recognizable for its copper roof. To reach this entrance riders exit the train at Sandy Springs and walk north, following the signs to Mt. Vernon Road.
