• Cash for Commuters Switch to carpooling and earn $3 per day, up to $100 over a three-month period.

Find a Carpool Partner

Use the MyRideSmart.com database to search for someone who lives and works near you and is seeking a carpool partner. You will receive an email with a list of potential matches and their contact information.  When you get in touch, decide:

• Who will drive and when
• Pick-up/drop-off locations and meeting times
• How long the carpool will wait for stragglers
• Back-up plan for sick drivers/passengers
• Eating, drinking, smoking, cell phone use, music choices
• Cost sharing
