As a native of the Buckeye State, Deborah McCalman (left in photo) moved to Atlanta, GA to join the PTC staff in 2005. With a strong background in client relations, marketing and customer service, she has worked with over 70 companies and properties, including some of Central Perimeter’s Fortune 100 Companies.
Some of Deborah’s achievements include adding employer vanpool and bike subsidies, employer funded incentives, new shuttle service and increased employee program participation.
Deborah wears many hats, and takes on various roles to ensure the success of those we partner with. While handling program development and (TDM) project management for our Fortune 100 partners, she successfully manages PTC’s accounting administration needs, which includes: accounts payable, reporting, and budgeting support. Doing this while assisting in the management of the federal CMAQ grant invoicing process and serving as a liaison to an accounting firm, makes Deborah a one of a kind asset to team PTC.
Currently, Deborah holds a B.S. in Finance and is pursuing her M.A in Accounting with a concentration in Project Management. She has her sites set on becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
When she’s not spending time with her family or studying, she volunteers for the Center for Working Families, HOSEA Feed the Hungry, Atlanta Furniture Bank and Habitat for Humanity. In addition, she serves on various fundraising committees such as the Y.M.C.A and HOPE Worldwide.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, kickboxing, bike riding, hiking and spending quality time with friends; and to keep everything in balance, Deborah relies heavily on her faith in God!
